Finite oil-What is the truth?

The Houston based president of Shell Oil, John Hofmeister, is now stating that
“The peak oil theory has really swamped the world. God bless Matt Simmons,” Hofmeister said. “His assumptions are correct based on his hypotheses, but his hypotheses are too narrow.”

These ideas of limited oil have been advocated by scientist for a long time. Initially many scientists at the US Geological Service in 1891 claimed that there would never be oil found in Texas. Then the claim was that there will never be big oil finds in Texas. Then in 1909 the government scientists at the US Geological Survey claimed that we would run out of oil by the 1939. In 1922, that same agency revised its forecast to 1942. When 1939 rolled around the US Departmetn of the Interior predicted that oil would run out in 1952. Each of these predictions by ‘expert’ scientists have proven to be fallacies. Is Hofmeister just another one of these false predictions?

It is also noteworthy that it was government agencies that were wrong again and again. Can you believe the government when it comes to oil? Well, history shows that you can not.

(For more on such predictions, see How Capitalism Saved America by Thomas J. DiLorenzo)

A Political Gene?

Some fascinating news is coming out regarding our genetic make-up. In the latest findings, researchers are finding that political leanings have more to do with genetic make-up than with how we were socialized or indoctrinated at government schools. Since the sample size is small, the results need to be viewed with caution. This has tremendous impact. It suggests that your genetic make-up is important. Your heritage is part of what you continue. The preservation of heritage becomes very important. Southrons have long wanted to preserve heritage, and this gives us more reason to. For years our grand pappy’s have told us “It’s in your blood”. Sadly, many did not believe them. They were right.

If the researchers are correct, then the various genome projects that are gaining popularity will need to be avoided. If political views are in the genes, then whoever controls the gene pool controls the political fate of the nation. Those who oppose Southrons would then just need to remove certain undesirable genes from the pool. The simple answer is don’t have genetic testing or tracking done if you do not need to. Grand daddy was also leary of modernism, which was also a smart move. It does not matter that you can find out what clan you go back to, do not give the empire and its cohorts any information, especially genetic /DNA information. It is not by accident that the governments here and in Britain are wanting a complete DNA catalogue of all their subjects.

The old adage “The nut does not fall far from the tree” may have more meaning that we earlier thought.

Another news story of interest to those who follow Scottish legends is that a legendary “White Stag” has been spotted in the Scottish highlands. Down in Texas, they would be putting out feed and counting how many points he has in preparation for the 2008 hunting season.

Helpful Texas Resources for Stewardship

Dr. Michael Hill recently contacted the State Chairmen and encouraged us to view the new Arkansas League of the South website. This site is attractive and clean, which I like in websites. It also had a link for users to check for sex offenders in the State of Arkansas. I thought that was an excellent idea and proceeded to find the equivalent in Texas. The best I could find is that Texas Sex offender registry. It requires a little extra work in that you have to post the address or zip code your are interested in and it provides the out put. Protecting fellow Texians is a major priority. The culture cannot be preserved if the people are not safe, physically and emotionally. Another site that had useful information was Toxic Texas. This site contains the list of toxic waste sites throughout the State. I have repeatedly exposed the issues at Bayport, where the Elf Atochem site is located. The site also has the Pantex nuclear site, and Sierra Blanca (where the sewage of New York City is dumped in Texas-Once again we have been dumped on by the Yankees. Perhaps this explains the linkage between Viceroy Perry and Giuliani).  There are many other sites that are also of concern throughout the state. Polluting without regard to the land and the people living next door to you is not being a good neighbor nor is it Texas friendly.

Research linking toxic chemicals and various cancers and diseases is clear. The presences of toxic chemicals is dangerous to those working in the plants and to those living near the plants. I am not turning green on you, although I am wanting companies, ports, highways etc. to respect the land and the people on it. Texas has more chemical plants than other states. We have a bigger problem than other States in dealing with these toxic poisons as well. This is just plain good stewardship of the South and God’s creation. Many industries have not exhibited good stewardship. Many sex offenders have not exhibited good stewardship of their bodies and respect of other people. We need to clean up the land and the people. Dealing with toxins and perverts is a good start. Knowing where they tend to hide is a first step to cleaning up Texas.

Preserving the South includes preserving the people, the land and the history, which are all part of culture.

Culture and the Brain

In a recent study, researchers have discovered that culture not only shapes our likes and dislikes, it effects the hard wiring of the brain. It influences the decisions we make and how we make them. The studies included using MRI’s which graphically illustrated the differences.  It influences how we think. Although the study compared American and East Asian populations, the ramifications are significant. Consider, if you will that this means that Confederate and Yankee brains are different. We always knew that Yankees thought different, now there is research to show it was not just a figment of our imagination. It also raises some concerns in my mind about multiculturism. With the blending of cultures, are we not watering down the ability to have unique thinking? By creating a polyglot of culture is society creating a polyglot in thinking as well? Does this not also imply that multiculturalism poses a danger to our ability to problem solve?

Given that the study population was small, (10 Americans and 10 East Asians), the results will need to be viewed with some caution, although it would be worth keeping an eye on further research in this area, especially when they start finding differences in how Yankees and Southrons think and identifying what those various differences are in how they think and solve problems.

What is does show me, is that culture is important. It is not just a matter of preferences, it is a matter of how people view the world and solve problems.

Thought Crimes, the Dark Web and it’s new Gestapo

While everyone’s attention was elsewhere Congress passed more police state legislation. The latest installment is entitled the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007“. It is also known as HR 1955.  This is a heinous piece of work. In this latest action, they have defined “violent radicalization” means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.

Pray tell what does this mean? It could be taken to refer to anyone who takes extreme ideological stands (i.e. feels passionate about their beliefs). Extreme could be anything out of the mainstream. This could be applies to preaching, politics, and cultural actions. The very definition of radical means “to the root”. Such legislation aims at anything that challenges root or core beliefs of the establishment.

The legislation sets up a commission (with paid positions, of course, along with retirement). This in itself tells me that they plan to keep the commission for some time. The commission will explore the various groups they are concerned with and provide Congress with a report on them. They are essentially attempting to profile and identify these people. I admit I was surprised that they did not mention the need to affix yellow stars of David onto their clothing for easier identification. This is a Stasi/Gestapo policy plain and simple. The commission is a defacto thought police star chamber. The commission will be working closely with the civil rights agency to insure that the civil rights of various groups are not infringed upon. To me it sounds like many administrative groups are in a conspiracy to maintain a monopoly on government control.

The commission will be charged with collecting and distributing information and statistics to other  agencies. The commission will also set up a center. This one is called (in perfect Orwellian double speak), “Center of Excellence for the Study of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism in the United States (hereinafter referred to as `Center’)”. They have used terms straight out of quality improvement to enhance the title of this center. The center will be housed at a university. The bill claims the choice will be based on merit. At present, the University of Arizona in association with the National Science Foundation have been researching various groups associated with the “dark web“. The bill could be nothing more than ‘pork’ legislation for Arizona, yet it is more ominous. The dark web project is where they analyze links and associations among groups based on the links used and other analytic tools. The purpose of the center is “Purpose- It shall be the purpose of the Center to study the social, criminal, political, psychological, and economic roots of violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism in the United States and methods that can be utilized by Federal, State, local, and tribal homeland security officials to mitigate violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism.”

The center will conduct research and coordinate information about the identified groups, their ideology and funding.  In clear language, this is the thought police. The dark web project is already performing semantic analysis on the postings in order to identify the authors of controversial postings.

From what I have seen in the research posted by the University of Arizona concerning the League of the South and it is sloppy at best. They used information provided by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and then set off to find evidence that support the SPLC claims. This is not genuine research. Genuine research would consists of exploring the numbers without pre-concieved ideas of what you will find. If the Empire uses the University of Arizona, we can expect nothing less than the production of statistics and reports that merely validate what they were looking for. In essence, it becomes a kangaroo court that provides the Empire with reports that will give empirical propaganda to persecute the groups they deem as undesirable.

Among the Co-Sponsors of this were a CONgress Critter from Mississippi (Bennie Thompson) and one from Texas. CONgress Critter Al Green has decided that thought crime needs to be implemented. The bill passed 404-6, with Ron Paul opposed to it. The cowards voted for it with just the simple yea or nay with no official record of who sold the nation out.

This legislation is a threat to the freedoms of all groups. It is a dangerous precedent toward a  totalitarian police state. This provides for a new gestapo complete with informants, false charges, thought crimes, and a retirement plan for the Empire’s puppets. Such legislation is a clear indication that the Empire is losing control and is resorting to more extreme methods to maintain its status. When put in the context of Family Security Matters’ recent piece on identifying the League as dangerous, the situation makes more sense. Given that the Family Security Matters is a website posing as a resource for “security moms,” but operates as a front for the Neocon war machine.  Recall it was this same group that called for the genocide of all Arabs, and for Bush to declare himself president for life. Such is the mindset of the modern empire.

Its Flu Season-Will you believe the politicians or the physicians?

With the change in weather, there is often an increased incidence in flu cases. With the ‘flu season’ now upon us, the empire issues its usual recommendations. In the latest round, State Representative White Delasi makes her recommendation to experience the flu vaccine.

Many of the bureaucrats push the vaccination programs. The question quickly arises as to who are you going to believe, politicos or physicians? Doctors are warning people in greater numbers about the dangers of flue shots and vaccinations in general. Here is a list compiled by physicians of the citations of dangers associated with flu vaccines. Here is Dr. Ayoub discussing the dangers of vaccines.

Preserving our culture also concerns preserving our health. The League of the South wants to preserve the health of Texians and Southrons.Save the South!

PS-In a follow-up to this post, a news story came out where 44,000 servicemen are at risk for adverse reactions to vaccinations. The reactions include possible disability or death. The question becomes, “Do you trust your government?”

Propaganda by any other name

In a recent press release by the National Science Foundation, praises were heaped on those researchers investigating what they call the “dark web” at the University of Arizona. Articles such as this are pure propaganda financed by your tax dollars through the Federal government. A perusal through the original research article reveals some major flaws. The article was submitted in 2004, and it is only now being publicized. If it was ground breaking and of substance, it would have been in the forefront of the news before now.

If you read the methodology of their study (e.g. how they did the research), they began with lists of extremist and terrorist groups supplied to them by ‘reputable’ sources. Among these  reputable sources is the Southern Poverty Law Center. Given their track record on issues important to Southrons, they create hate where hate did not exist. They have branded those who oppose immigration as hateful, along with groups that advocate Biblical standards concerning marital relations. When groups talk about separating themselves from the wickedness of modern culture they are labeled separatists and put on ‘the list’.

After obtaining their lists, the researchers began looking at how websites are linked to one another. Based on who links to who, they claim the groups are associated with one another. In this study, the Texas League of the South is listed on page 13. This one is a little more sophisticated in that they also analyze how sophisticated the web site is. The more “techie” material, they assume the better command and control the organization has. Mind you, they are looking at things like links. If someone links to you and they are a member of a ‘radical’ group, you are included in their analysis of net links or spider webs.

In later research, this group analyzed the sentence structure of material posted in forums, etc. They looked for patterns in the content. This sounds sophisticated, BUT, remember how they found the groups at first. It was not based on just who links with who, but who links to the groups listed on ‘the lists’ provided to them by ‘reputable’ groups.

All this research, which was completed several years ago has done, is provide some number crunching that shows the correlation of links among websites. They have not been able to predict anything.  Remember also, follow the money. When you know who paid for the research, you will discover what the researchers will find. This is a well financed witch hunt designed to find information that it was led to find (in other words, propaganda). The research is two years old at best. The odd part is why is the NSF parading this out in public now?

Roadblocks to advancement

In scripture we are told that "the truth will set you free". In advancing the cause for Southern freedom, this saying provides guidance through the morass of roadblocks and obstacles. Lately one of the roadblocks set up to prevent advancement is deception. Many Southrons  are stifled by deceptions thrown in their way. There are deceptions concerning history, science , psychology and  other areas of knowledge.  Rather than seeking after the truth, people are discouraged by the deceptions  put out by those seeking to maintain the deception.

One of these deceptions is the use of the word consensus. This is a political word. Politicians reach consensus. This word has been used to address issues of science. In ‘true’ science you deal with facts. Something is true or it is not true. If it is a theory it has not been proven true, instead it is someones opinion. If people wanted truth, they would make statements, like 10 out of 100 scientist agree that this finding is ‘valid’. Such presentations are not made, because the public would discover that many things that are presented as science would not stand the scrutiny of truth. I have seen this concerning global warming, vaccinations, pharmaceuticals and other areas that effect our lives on a daily basis. If they get you to believe false assumptions, you will arrive at false conclusions. In other words these are just a bunch of scare tactics used to manipulate public opinion.

I have seen this same phenomena at work in the portrayal of history. The powers that be often distort and avoid revealing key elements in history. Here is one. Prior to arriving at the Alamo, David Crockett took an oath of allegiance to Texas. He was fighting for Texas. He was not fighting to expand the empire of the Union. I admire John Wayne, and his work at portraying the west, but he was mistaken in some of the associations of Crockett and the expansion of the empire. There are other distortions as well. When the public believe the current myth, the behave accordingly. For the empire to remain in power, the people have to believe the myths supporting the regime. The many distortions in history are an organized effort at perpetuating the myth.

I have also seen this in the field of psychology. In the older textbooks, the early clinicians addressed the issue of homosexuality as a perversion. (see works by Blank and Blank or Freud for example). They saw it as an illness and treated it as such. The texts also have cases of where it was overcome. With the advancement of the gay rights agenda, many of these old cases and documentation have been revised and changed to make this behavior more acceptable. Great effort has gone into removing the stigma surrounding the behavior and make it acceptable to the public.

These are just three examples of how deceptions have been used to confuse and misdirect society. It is important for southrons to see through the deceptions and seek after the truth. It is only then that you can arrive at correct and valid conclusions in decisions facing your families.

Free Dixie from deception.

Big Brother in Texas

Big Brother, like the proverbial camel sticking his nose under the tent, is sneaking further into Texas. Eye scans in Texas . The government is beginning a program using eye scanners  in Galveston, Texas. Under the auspices of finding missing children and the elderly, they are constructing a database of iris scans. The intended goal is the complete cataloging of the nation’s youth. This sounds like a year end inventory. Given the level of debt that nation has, this kind of inventory sounds like those involved in bankruptcies. When a person goes bankrupt, a detailed inventory of their assets is compiled and turned over to the Feds. What is not known is who will the inventory be turned over to? Another interesting question is why was this paid for by private donations? Are there that many generous companies out there, or is this an effort to circumvent some of the restrictions placed on government and their activities? I find that two points always need to be considered when viewing stories like this. 1) Follow the money. The money trail reveals the real truth behind matters. The second is "Qui Bono?" (a Latin phrase meaning who benefits?). When you consider both of these questions, you gain a fuller picture of the news and the significance of the events as they unfold.

Any way you slice it, the eye scans are a threat to the freedoms of Southern peoples. Yes I know they are currently voluntary, but for how long? This kind of technology is like something straight out of Blade Runner.  Don’t be fooled, when the government comes along and says "we are here to help you", it is usually reason enough to be suspicious.

Leviathan already has cameras placed all over the State, watching the roadways, now they want to have a complete database of all the citizens/subjects/chattel.
