The big flag in Florida

There has been quite a bit of controversy over a large Confederate flag flying over the city of Tampa, Florida. Although many stories take a negative view of the occurrence, Orlando Salinas of Fox News reported on the event in a fair balanced manner. John Adams, who is spearheading the campaign has done his homework so that all the legal requirements were met prior to the flag’s raising. The flag is the size of many of the oversize US flags seen above automobile dealerships. Even Steven Colbert’s comedy routine addressed the issue. I can not endorse his treatment of the issue, and wanted to make ya’ll aware of what is going on out there.

I would like to see them displayed at intersections across the South as well. A people ashamed of their heritage do not have a ‘real homeland’.
