Those of you who have been concerned with private property rights and the Trans-Texas Corridor can rejoice. Officials at TxDOT have announced they have scrapped plans for the tollways and land grabs that were part of the original plan. Although this has been accomplished, the hired hands still need watchin’. TxDOT will be coming up with ways of financing their plans, and when the government plans, you’d better hold onto your wallet.

This decision is a reminder that speaking out and just saying “NO” to government plans does work. Remember that government is nothing more than the voice of many people, it is not the voice of ALL the people.
