What is the empire up to today?

As odd as it seems, reading the news is almost as humorous as the funny papers, between the lies, backstabbing and craziness that is going on. In the latest, the empire is bringing back sand from Kuwait. The stated reason is to bury the sand, which was contaminated by depleted Uranium in Idaho. I wonder why they didn’t leave the sand where it came from? Think about it. 6,700 tons of sand were sent back here on taxpayer dollars for us to dispose of. This is sand which was contaminated fighting for Kuwait. This is just plain weird.

It is these kind of decisions that leave the powers that be in financial hock, with us left holding the bag. In the latest scheme to improve finances, the regime wants to bring back the 1-year T-bill. Why anyone would want to finance the occupational government is beyond me. With the present financial crisis, are they good for it? Bear in mind that all the private dollars that go to purchase these things are more dollars that are not available for investment in the private sector. We need a stronger private sector, and less centralized government.

These are the kinds of things that the hired hands are doing. Moving sand around the world like it was their private sandbox and then asking for a hand out from the American people.

PS here is a corker-Although the empire will dispose of Kuwaiti sand, it refuses to do so with Italian radioactive waste. Is there a little bit of preference being shown?

Lies or deception?

On one of the sites I frequent, someone posted the challenge of providing evidence of lies that are taught in the indoctrination centers known as schools along with what the truth was. When I read the challenge, my mind began working. A question that soon arose as I began going through textbooks is “Are the indoctrination centers (schools) lying to the students or deceiving the students?” Lying would consist of out and out telling an untruth. On taking a closer look, I realized that many schools leave things out and present half-truths to the students. The half-truths often contain enough poison to pollute their minds. I began considering what are the deceptions out there. These are some of the items I came up with.

1. Secession is treason (this is a lie). Secession was never made illegal, nor is it treason.

2. The Alamo is part of US history (deception). The Alamo belongs to Texas. The men who fought there swore an oath of loyalty to Texas. They were fighting for Texas Independence, NOT American expansion. Most of them wanted to get away from US law.

3. All Texans supported FDR (lie). Many Texas officials opposed FDR and his new deal. They saw first hand how destructive centralized government can be. His own Vice-President, Cactus Jack Garner opposed him. One of the more outspoken Texas voices was Martin Dies.

4.  FDR got America out of the great depression (lie). Unemployment was worse after FDR’s programs took effect. He made the depression worse and last longer than it needed to.

5. The war of northern aggression was fought over slavery (lie). Differing economic policies and control were more at the heart of this one. Even as late as 1865, the US was considering scrapping the Emancipation Proclamation (which by the way did not free any slaves within the Union States. This is another lie. The EP only freed the slaves in the Southern states which were then not under the authority of the US governments occupational forces).

There are more, but this is enough to get your blood pumping and have something to talk about today.

Selective remembrance of the War

Discussions are already underway concerning how people will celebrate and remember the 150th anniversary of the start of the war of Northern Aggression. In a recent article by Diane Haag in the Shreveport Times, she talks to leaders about the issue. The article is encouraging in that people are preparing for the anniversary and beginning a dialogue. The distressing item is what historian Gary Joiner said regarding how he and others like him need to take charge and ‘educate’ the public rather than allowing the anniversary to be hi-jacked by those with less than honorable intentions by the neo-secessionists. (I guess that some historians want selective portions of history recalled rather than the whole spectrum (i.e. political correctness at its best) We can’t have them Southrons knowing the real reason their for-fathers fought for freedom can we? If those Southrons find out what actually happened, how it happened and why it happened they might get uppity and no longer be content at their status of boot-licking subservients).  The educational establishment has routinely presented history to keep the people in line and maintain the myths of the empire. Since all empires are founded on myths, maintaining those myths are essential.

A Yankee wakes up!

Michael Hirsh at Newsweek wrote a recent article that raises some interesting points. It is entitled,  “How the South won (this) Civil War. In it he addresses how Southern values have changed the empire. He also associates the South with conservative values as opposed to ‘northern sensibilities’.  Although many of his points are interesting, he erroneously claimed the current regime as having ‘Texas’ values, which it does not. The empire building mentality is pure Yankee mentality. It is almost as if he is trying to divorce the regime from the Yankee culture. As a Yankee, Hirsh is starting to wake up. He is still confused on some points, but his suggestion that the north secede is a good one. He recognizes the cultural divide, which people are now beginning to acknowledge on a larger scale. He now sees what we have seen for a long time.

Borders in the News

Texas State Representative Debbie Riddle is speaking out against illegal immigration. She is mad and wants something done about it. Although she is standing up, the reporting of her courage is demeaning. She references a quote by John Quincey Adams about doing the right thing and letting God decide the results. The reporter at the Houston Chronicle makes fun of her reference to God and poses the question of whether or not God imposes borders. Well, yes he does. He decides the borders. The same ‘higher law’ craziness that led to problems in the 1850-1860’s is with us again in the form of the illegal immigration debate. The proponents of illegal immigration claim that we are “all God’s children” and that borders mean nothing. They do not see that such thinking is globalist and is setting the stage for one world mentality.

We need to protect the land we have been given stewardship over.

In another story on sovereignty, the EU and its Brussels bureaucrats have decided to ‘create’ a new nation or area in the process of dismantling England. The new regional entity will be called “Manche”. NOTE: This is a precedent. This is the same kind of globalist lies that will eventually be put against us. Do not be surprised if they start talking about regions in the empire as well.

Free Texas from such insanity.

Trans Texas Corridor Threat

Below is a video of the Trans-Texas Corridor meeting in Walker County. The corridor is a threat to all Texans. Although not everyone’s land is in danger, the security, heritage and economic well being off all Texans are at stake. It is important for all Texans to view this presentation and to take action on the matter.

Message from Dr. Hill on the current crises

Members & Friends of the League of the South:

As you no doubt have heard by now, there is a global food crisis. This has been fueled (no pun intended) by rising commodity prices–oil, wheat, rice, and poultry and dairy product, among many others. Moreover, I suspect that central governments, central banks, and global corporations have a hand in the emerging crisis as well.

For whatever reasons it has come about, the global food crisis (coupled with the global energy crisis) WILL have a big impact on your life. And this will probably be sooner rather than later.

From the beginning, the League has promoted agrarianism and all its manifestations. We believe that both the Nashville Agraraians and the English Distributists were right. But even before these groups, Thomas Jefferson was on to the same thing. A republic is secured by the small freeholder. Today, this does not mean that we all have to become farmers; rather, it means a freeholder is anyone (farmers, small businessmen, etc.) who has the ability and inclination to free himself (and his family and community) from a debilitating system of dependence. He holds himself and his property as distant as possible from  the encumbrances of the system, as far as it is possible to do so. Be freeholders.

As we face these developing crises (and don’t forget the overaching subprime financial crisis),  what can we do to help protect ourselves? For most of us, moving “back to the land” is not a practical and immediate solution. But if it is for you, I suggest you do it at once. For everyone else: plant a garden, fruit trees, bushes, and vines; arrange with a local farmer (perhaps a fellow LS member?) to get your dairy products, eggs, meat, honey, and anything else they produce in some quantity. Also, as a short-term solution (3-6 months) stock your pantry with non-perishable items such as rice, pasta, flour, cornmeal, grits, canned vegetables, fruits, oils, and meats. Learn about food preservation (and I don’t mean simply putting things in the freezer) so you can put up fresh produce this summer. Don’t forget bottled water. For a longer-term solution, get a first-rate water filter and some way to capture rainwater (if you don’t have a year-round stream, creek, lake, or pond nearby). A reliable well, of course, would be best.

Don’t neglect means of cooking and keeping warm (the crisis may be going full speed ahead by this coming fall and winter). At least have a camp stove and fuel or a grill and a good supply of charcoal. A good supply of firewood and a fireplace or wood cookstove is a longer term solution. As for keeping cool in the South in the summer without air conditioning--good luck! That’s why God gave us creeks, shade trees, funeral parlor fans, and afternoon thunderstorms in July and August.

As one Southerner to another, I don’t have to explain to you the necessity of protecting what you have from intruders. If this becomes a full-blown crisis, many unprepared people (read “the most of them”) will freak out and possibly become dangerous. We know there is already a criminal element in society that needs but a feeble excuse to plunder and pillage. In other words, exercise your Second Amendment rights to the fullest.

Be sure to have some gold and silver, in various units, in your physical possession.

In times like these, we need real community more than ever. That is what the League is all about, fundamentally. But the most important thing you can do is get on your knees everyday and pray for God’s mercy on His people. Then get up and be a leader in your family and community. Who knows, on the other side of this crisis there may exist the opportunity we’ve been seeking.

FSI,

Michael Hill

Self-Sufficiency works!

Here is a story from England for inspiration. The village began growing their own produce and livestock. They have essentially weaned themselves from the supermarket. Imagine if Southrons throughout the South did this-We would not be looking at high food prices, but rather taking care of our own. Archer-Daniels or Conagra would not be controlling our lives and we would be eating healthier.

What are the priorities?

Many people in the united States face the specter of unemployment. This is unfortunate. The nation is also experiencing a recession and a decline in the value of its money. Although many spin the issue as rising costs, the reality is the dollar is becoming worth less and less. With the declining value of the dollar, what is the regime doing about it? At this juncture, they are pushing for opening up free trade with Columbia. Besides that, they are continuing to hold firm to NAFTA. Their actions show that loyalties are not with the American people. The loyalties of the regime lie somewhere else. Such policies do not put the American people first. They do not protect American soverignty. In a free South, the people and the soverignty of the nation would be the first priority. The favoritism among nations and various alliances is part of what contributed to World War I. The first alliance should be to the people.

Vote Monitoring.

A story in the media this morning addresses how the Feds will be monitoring the Pennsylvania primary election. What surprises me is that such an item is seen as newsworthy. Anyone who has studied human behaviour knows that when you monitor something, you are effecting and to some degree controlling the outcome. This has been seen and proven in many studies of human behaviour.  We in Texas and throughout the South have been “monitored” by the Feds in our elections ever since the war ended and reconstruction began. In many ways, such monitoring is a sure sign that the Feds still want control and have never ended “Reconstruction”.  There have not been “free” elections since the war. The ‘monitoring’ did not stop the LBJ voting shenanigans and will not likely prevent modern tampering either.
