Free Speech and Free Thought

Researchers have known for a long time that there is a connection between speech and thought. It is not by accident that the leaders of Germany’s Third Reich placed great emphasis on how people talked and the terms they used. That regime intentionally changed the language of the nation by militarizing it. By militarizing the language, they were also changing the thinking of the people to accept the increased militarization going on at that time. Along with the militarization was was the  objectification of certain groups. The regime intentionally spoke of them in an objective manner. The logic was, when you can speak of people as an object, you no longer have to treat them as  a human. It was akin to finding people guilty before the trial. These indirect attacks were the first phase of the regime’s program. In some circles it was called “Aryanization”. The first phase amounted to indirect persecution of certain groups. Part of the plan also involved the churches becoming political. The became political in that they presented what was ‘approved’, ’sanctioned’ or non-offensive to the regime rather than preaching God’s word.

This same type of mindset is alive and well in the form of political correctness. With political correctness, honest discussions about many issues is shut down. People are objectified with the use of handy labels an  people do not have to think for themselves.

I like Donnie Kennedy’s quote, “Freedom of speech is not a consideration; thought control is the goal of the liberal establishment”.  In the present milieu, thought control is in the process of being implemented at the schools, churches and public discourse.  Schools now focus on conditioning people what they should think regarding the environment, multiculturalism and other issues, rather than teaching them how to think. The similarities between the program used in pre-war Germany and presently in the Yankee Empire are striking.
