Time to put up or shut up.

On Tuesday 6 November, voters in Harris County will be deciding an issue of concern to all Texians. On the ballot is the vote for Port of Houston Bonds. The port, already has a cash overflow and now wants more, $250,000,000 more. By having more money, they will be able to expand. An expansion of the port means more traffic and more momentum for the Trans-Texas Corridor (I like Kinky’s term for it, the Santa Anna Highway). A vote against the bonds, will be a vote against the Trans-Texas Corridor. According to the Pat Gray website (Pat Gray is a local talk radio personality), TxDot claims the port needs to be expanded in order to accommodate all the stuff that is going to be coming into Texas on the TTC. People need to realize that the port is already making a profit. They do not need government handouts or support to do so. This bond election is about giving them more money, so there can be more ships, more trains, more pollution in already polluted Harris County, and more Chinese-made products lining the docks of Bayport. The port just received $33 Million from the US government in February.

Who is supporting this bond measure? So far, the Longshoremen and the Baptist Ministers Association of Houston. This is a strange combination, dockworkers and pastors supporting the expansion of this monstrosity. I can understand the longshoremen, since it is their jobs. What I don’t understand is the pastors.

The Port of Houston authority initially wanted $550 million, but  Harris County Commissioner’s Court said NO. The port decided that they would ask for $250 million now and $300 Million in three years. I suppose by that time, they think the voters would have forgotten about the matter. They claim it is needed for more docks, so that they can bring in more goods. Any way you slice it, they will be hitting up the voters of Harris County now and again in three years.

It is also very odd that the article critical of the Port that ran in the Houston Chronicle is no longer available to the public.

This whole port thing is a mess. Recall that prior to Tom Delay’s departure, he opposed Bush’s plan to sell the ports to a Dubai-based company, claiming it was a mistake.  It was about that time that money poured into the Lampson (the Democratic opposition) campaign. Money that came from port and union officials. Lampson replaced DeLay due to a controversial situation in Travis County. The port deal went through. Now we have Chinese made cranes at a Texas port that is owned by a foreign company. The port is also a key hub in the Trans-Texas Corridor package. This whole fiasco is a prime example of the Chattanooga Declarations assertions concerning big business and government doing things together.

Oppose the Port-Say No. Already, Texas City and other ports are hoping to jump on the opportunity to  open up their sites if this bond election fails. They can handle it without penalizing this area with increased pollution standards and taxes and lower property values.

Free the South from Big Business and government joint ventures such as the port.

The League makes another top 10.

In yet another list of the 10 most dangerous groups in America, the League of the South made #4. We were rated at #4 on the last one from Family Security Matters, and now on Papa Mike’s we are also rated at #4. This list is based on the effectiveness at getting their message out. In Mike’s mind, when groups are effective in getting their message out, they are considered ‘dangerous’. He rated us even higher than Alex Jones at Infowars.com, a fellow Texan. Once more we were rated lower than the colleges and universities. Given the recent actions at the University of Delaware, where all the white students are required to attend programs to ‘treat’ them for their attitude and beliefs, I can see why we were #4. We do not have government funding to indoctrinate others like the University of Delaware. To me such actions amount to brainwashing. The program seeks a ’systemic change’ in their subjects. The students are required to address moral values, ethnic beliefs and even environmental beliefs.

The League is not about to brainwash anyone. We want southern minds to be free. We want the future generation to think for themselves, not e puppets of some government agency.

For the life of me, I do not understand the reason for Papa Mike viewing us as dangerous. Many of the articles and values espoused could easily have been posted on a League website. He ridicules Hillary Clinton, FEMA, and Al Gore.  He espouses a Christian value system, so what gives?  He sees many of the same issues and problems, the League just has a solution that intimidates many people.  Another criticism is that some of the people who associate with League people has extreme ideas. No group which values liberty will censor independent thought. Our members think for themselves. As an organization, there are many issues we are united on. What men think in private or with their families is between them and the Lord. Critics continue painting with a broad brush. I would rather speak out on the issues than cower in servitude.

What such list do tell me is that the message of the League is resonating with the people across the States. People want a return to the Southern values, of family, home, faith and liberty. What is even better, people have expressed a desire for these values without having to be brainwashed by a University to do so. This is true freedom of thought.

History of Ethnic Cleansing in Texas

As unusual as it sounds, there have been several episodes of ethnic cleansing in Texas. Most history books do not portray them as such, but a closer examination of the historical context reveals them as such. It behooves Texians to remember who the parties were in those episodes. It will help them make better choices in the future.

1. The 1688 expedition to find Fort St. Louis. This was the third attempt the Spanish authorities undertook to remove all signs of the French colony and claims in Texas. They purposely destroyed all evidence that the colony existed. They did not kill the colonists, since the Indians had already accomplished that. The total destruction and wipe down of the crime scene to remove all evidence of French activity is a form of ethnic cleansing.

2. The aftermath of the Battle of Medina. After the Republic of Texas was declared on April 1, 1813 (Yes, the Republic of Texas became into existence BEFORE the Republic of Mexico existed, so all that poppycock about how Texas was stolen from Mexico is a load of meadow muffins). Spain sent troops (including Santa Anna) to remove the Texians.In the largest battle fought in Texas, the Spanish were triumphant.In the wake of their victory, there was massive bloodshed as they killed those who surrendered. They also ravished the wives of the Texians, and forced them to perform slave labor under the authority of General Arredondo. The policies put into place almost depopulated Texas.

3. Santa Anna’s Invasion of 1836. In this invasion, there was massive destruction throughout Texas. The homes and cities established by the colonists were destroyed whenever the Mexican army came across them. Accounts from that period reveal that Santa Anna, the leader of Mexico, was not benevolent in any way. His atrocities were intentionally played down for political reasons. The invasion along with the policies he ordered sought the elimination of the Texians.

4. Juan Cortina’s Invasion. When Juan Cortina invaded Texas, he proclaimed his hatred of whites. After hoisting a Mexican flag above the city of Brownsville, he began a reign of terror where he imprisoned people on a whim and attempted stirring up others in joining his hatred of “Anglos”. He claimed that Anglos made his so mad, he could eat a baby.

5. The Plan of San Diego. In the early 20th century, bandits crossed the border and in guerrilla type fashion, began a series of random killings of whites throughout South Texas. (I addressed some other aspects of this in my post of yesterday. )

6. There were also some episodes involving the Indian Wars, but in these, there was not the massive destruction of all Indians, although under the Yankee occupation of Sheridan, the orders were given to destroy all the buffalo so that the Indians would not have any food to eat. Sheridan attempted ethnic cleansing via starvation.

Those who have foisted ethnic cleansing on Texas have been Spain, Mexico and the United States. These are the nations that have shed innocent blood on the soil of Texas. Despite the history of Texas with these powers, the Viceroy of Texas wants a Spanish company to do business in Texas. The current regime wants to support Mexico in how the courts deal with convicted criminals. The United States also overturned Texas laws concerning abortion, in the Roe v. Wade decision, allowing untold thousands of Texans to be killed in the name of ‘freedom’ and ‘privacy’. Although not listed as ethnic cleansing, it represents the largest loss of innocent life in Texas. This travesty occurred under Yankee occupation.

Texans need to know their history. They need to know the patterns of those who have exploited Texas and kept her in chains. When people know their history, they will understand the times in which they live and make better choices.

Another State seeking its independence is Alaska. I read this history of Alaska, and am surprised they are not hopping mad up there. I was never taught this version of how the United States acquired Alaska. They were not only messed over by the empire, the United Nations is involved in their situation. The whole seizure of Alaska was also used to empower the freaks of the United Nations.

The Plan of San Diego-Forgotten History

One of the struggles we face in today’s culture is the competition for our attention. As part of this struggle for attention, we often do not learn from history, and find ourselves repeating past mistakes. One reason we don’t learn history is that the version of it presented in the public indoctrination centers is so sanitized that the important parts are removed. If you want an example, look at the one time popular, Texas History Movies. The book was revised several times, and each time materials were removed. They have a new version out, which I have not seen, but I can guess what is not in it.

One item often left out is that of the Plan of San Diego. This was the plan devised by Mexican national to ethnically cleanse Texas of the white population over the age of 16, and then take over the area, proclaiming it another nation. The plan came about during the time of unrest in Mexico between 19190-1920. During this time, Germany was attempting to entice Mexico into military action against the States United and specifically Texas. It is more than ironic that in the 30 guerrilla raids into Texas, no whites of German descent were killed, although other whites were victims of the ethnic cleansing that occurred. Even though some history books do not mention it, the people who lived in Texas at the time remember it. These incidents are part of what led to the Pershing incursion into Mexico and the Veracruz incident where US battleships sailed into Veracruz. In the aftermath of those episodes, there was true border security. Barbed wire and machine gun nests were established along the border with Mexico. The raids led to heightened racial tensions in much of south Texas, which set the stage for the Brownsville riots. In many ways, it is astounding that Mexican food restaurants often display pictures of those involved in the Mexican revolution, like Pancho Villa, when the reality was many of those people wanted to “Kill the Gringos (as long as they were not German)”, and take Texas for themselves. These displays are akin to people putting up images of Che Guevera as an expression of free speech. The man never tolerated his opponents to have free speech.

Never heard of these incidents? Well, maybe you need a new history book, like Texans Always Move Them: A True History of Texas. Such incidents are important in understanding current events. Although the Plan of San Diego is not often taught in schools, there are some groups that keep it alive and want to fulfill it.

Lists as indirect intimidation

The recent inclusion of the League of the South listing of the most dangerous groups in America on Family Security Matters in concert with  the passage of HR 1955  may be coincidental although the timing is awfully ironic. One of the methods used by totalitarian governments to gain control and intimidate the public is to post lists. These lists are often identified as ‘dangerous’ groups or persons.

Historically, after the initial lists are published of dangerous groups, future lists have specific persons listed along with the accusations against them. The accusations are presented in terms of how disloyal they are to the government. Such techniques are eerily similar to what is proposed in HR 1955. Totalitarian governments then attempt character assassination against those persons or groups on the lists. It causes totalitarian governments grief when those on the list have moral convictions or moral fiber. Given that this is the psychological technique used, it behooves Southrons and Texians to live righteously. This technique is designed to indirectly attack the groups so that their reputation is damaged. It is designed to create social alienation so that other persons will avoid those groups ‘on the lists’.

The use of such lists is often done in association with the totalitarian government convincing the population that problems can only be solved by government and those problems can only be solved by force. The desensitization of the population to the use of force to solve problems is essential to maintaining totalitarian control. Is it by accident that with greater frequency, government agents are armed? Is is by accident that force was used by the Empire in responding to Katrina?

Given the nature of the Empire, it is not beyond them to be behind the “coincidental timing”. Given that FSM has operated as a ‘front group’ for the Empire is well documented with their call for Bush being the President for life. The making and posting of such lists are not accidental.

Cisneros in the news again.

The name of Henry Cisneros is in the news again. This time he is leaving the board of directors of Countrywide Financial. His decision comes on the news of Countrywide’s loss of $1.2 BILLION dollars in the sub-prime meltdown. Despite the crisis of the meltdown, the companies stocks are going up! I just wonder is it that people are now investing in the company or are these the billions of dollars from banks sent in to prop up the coming financial meltdown? Despite the rise in their stocks, the investors who know something about the gold market are driving up the gold futures. The futures are at a 28-year high for December delivery. Somebody knows something. The patterns in the market are very schizoid at this point in time, which seems to be the result of the Empire and banks meddling in the market.

Had Countrywide not learned from Cisneros’ previous episodes? Why would a company hire a convicted criminal and adulterer? If you don’t remember his history, he lied to the FBI concerning a mistress that he had been bankrolling. He did this while serving as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. The only reason he did not do time was that he was pardoned by Bill Clinton (an adulterer pardoning another adulterer).  It was on his (Cisneros) watch that the Federalies took a caravan of people into Vidor, Texas and forcibly integrated the city. The action was part of a series of forced integrations where middle class neighborhoods were targeted for integration using lower economic peoples and public housing to bring about changes. Needless to say, such changes radically altered property values. In Detroit alone, home values went down 1/5 due to the HUD actions. In Berkeley California, HUD used Federal power to jail “the Berkeley three” when they dared to speak out against this practice. The use of Federal power to force changes on communities is not good political or economic policy.

If any of this information is new to you, then you may want to obtain a good history book, such as “Texans Always Move Them: A True History of Texas” for more on Cisneros or “Why Not Freedom!” by the Kennedy Brothers for more on HUD’s actions during Cisneros’ watch. The actions of HUD changed property values using federal power. It astounds me that Cisneros would be chosen to be a director of Countrywide. I suspect that if one followed the money, the answer would become apparent.

Thought Crimes, the Dark Web and it’s new Gestapo

While everyone’s attention was elsewhere Congress passed more police state legislation. The latest installment is entitled the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007“. It is also known as HR 1955.  This is a heinous piece of work. In this latest action, they have defined “violent radicalization” means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.

Pray tell what does this mean? It could be taken to refer to anyone who takes extreme ideological stands (i.e. feels passionate about their beliefs). Extreme could be anything out of the mainstream. This could be applies to preaching, politics, and cultural actions. The very definition of radical means “to the root”. Such legislation aims at anything that challenges root or core beliefs of the establishment.

The legislation sets up a commission (with paid positions, of course, along with retirement). This in itself tells me that they plan to keep the commission for some time. The commission will explore the various groups they are concerned with and provide Congress with a report on them. They are essentially attempting to profile and identify these people. I admit I was surprised that they did not mention the need to affix yellow stars of David onto their clothing for easier identification. This is a Stasi/Gestapo policy plain and simple. The commission is a defacto thought police star chamber. The commission will be working closely with the civil rights agency to insure that the civil rights of various groups are not infringed upon. To me it sounds like many administrative groups are in a conspiracy to maintain a monopoly on government control.

The commission will be charged with collecting and distributing information and statistics to other  agencies. The commission will also set up a center. This one is called (in perfect Orwellian double speak), “Center of Excellence for the Study of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism in the United States (hereinafter referred to as `Center’)”. They have used terms straight out of quality improvement to enhance the title of this center. The center will be housed at a university. The bill claims the choice will be based on merit. At present, the University of Arizona in association with the National Science Foundation have been researching various groups associated with the “dark web“. The bill could be nothing more than ‘pork’ legislation for Arizona, yet it is more ominous. The dark web project is where they analyze links and associations among groups based on the links used and other analytic tools. The purpose of the center is “Purpose- It shall be the purpose of the Center to study the social, criminal, political, psychological, and economic roots of violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism in the United States and methods that can be utilized by Federal, State, local, and tribal homeland security officials to mitigate violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism.”

The center will conduct research and coordinate information about the identified groups, their ideology and funding.  In clear language, this is the thought police. The dark web project is already performing semantic analysis on the postings in order to identify the authors of controversial postings.

From what I have seen in the research posted by the University of Arizona concerning the League of the South and it is sloppy at best. They used information provided by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and then set off to find evidence that support the SPLC claims. This is not genuine research. Genuine research would consists of exploring the numbers without pre-concieved ideas of what you will find. If the Empire uses the University of Arizona, we can expect nothing less than the production of statistics and reports that merely validate what they were looking for. In essence, it becomes a kangaroo court that provides the Empire with reports that will give empirical propaganda to persecute the groups they deem as undesirable.

Among the Co-Sponsors of this were a CONgress Critter from Mississippi (Bennie Thompson) and one from Texas. CONgress Critter Al Green has decided that thought crime needs to be implemented. The bill passed 404-6, with Ron Paul opposed to it. The cowards voted for it with just the simple yea or nay with no official record of who sold the nation out.

This legislation is a threat to the freedoms of all groups. It is a dangerous precedent toward a  totalitarian police state. This provides for a new gestapo complete with informants, false charges, thought crimes, and a retirement plan for the Empire’s puppets. Such legislation is a clear indication that the Empire is losing control and is resorting to more extreme methods to maintain its status. When put in the context of Family Security Matters’ recent piece on identifying the League as dangerous, the situation makes more sense. Given that the Family Security Matters is a website posing as a resource for “security moms,” but operates as a front for the Neocon war machine.  Recall it was this same group that called for the genocide of all Arabs, and for Bush to declare himself president for life. Such is the mindset of the modern empire.

Is God missing or are we missing God?

The ceremonies and architecture or a civilization reveal much of what is important to it. Just this morning, there were two stories about removing references to God from government ceremonies. The phrase Laus Deo atop the Washington monument is being downplayed and the flag folding ceremony is being altered to remove the references to God. Although Empire apologists will say there is no conspiracy, something is happening. With this happening, there is a shame among government employees to mention and proclaim God. Whether it is a shame or an organized effort, it is still happening. Is is coincidence that this administration removed the Ten Commandments from courthouses as well? It is under this administration that twice this year, “In God we trust” has not been placed on the coinage. There is another possible explanation. Perhaps it is not the government at all. It could well be that the Almighty God is ashamed of the empire and he is at work to remove all references to associations between them and Him. If that is the case, the admonition to “come out from amoung them” speaks to us today.
In the south, there was no shame concerning mention of God. The motto “Deo Vindice” says it all.

Eminent Domain in Wichita Falls

The Bowie School District is making plans to exercise eminent domain in order to obtain the property belonging to the Johnson Poultry Ranch. In a move that rivals the Biblical account King Ahab and Naboth, the district is poised to take the land away from the heirs that do not wish to sell to the district. I do not know their motivation for not selling, but if they were sane, selling to an institution that undermines family values, preaches political correctness and band prayer from its halls as many other public schools indoctrination centers. do would be a rational decision. Why sell out to something that will use its power to destroy you. It is almost as if the district is saying we are going to do this no matter what you think. If the owners had allodial land title which the League favors, such transactions could not occur.

If you have had enough of these kid of land grabs, perhaps you need to join us.The League has already been designated one of the top 10 most dangerous groups by Family Security Matters due to its stands such as this. If groups like Family Security Matters were in charge, school districts across the nation would be seizing land whenever and wherever they pleased, because it is good for security and the country.

We make the top 10

In a recent article at Family Security Matters, Jason Rantz wrote and article identifying the top 10 most dangerous organizations in America. We made it to #4, behind MoveOn.org, colleges/universities and Media Matters for America. The article attacks organizations on the right and on the left side of the political spectrum. It sounds like any group that has opinions that are nto mainstream are now deemed “dangerous”. His critique is typical, where he cites second hand articles about the League rather than League sources. Here is a video produced last year with Franklin Sanders, who is on the Board of Directors addressing the charge of racism which uniformed sources often used in attacking us.

I have always been one to cite original sources and obtain my sources rather than what people say about them. It looks like some bloggers do not take their stories as serious. I was curious as to who this Jason Rantz is. He is a 25 year old from California. He has his own web based radio show and a MySpace page. He views himself as the voice of a new generation. He is innovative in his use of technology to get his message across. Even with the creative innovation, it is clear that he is not from the South nor does he cherish values held important to Southrons. Even in his list of favorite movies, books and television shows, there are no Southron authors or works, which tells me that his is out of touch with the South. He may speak for the youth of California, but not those of the South. If his facebook page is indicative of the today’s youth, there are many things that concern me. The vulgar language tells me that his seeing the League as a threat is actually quite a compliment. If standing up for decency, family, Biblical values, heritage and liberty is a threat, then this Empire is truly in a bad place. Thank you Jason, for viewing the League as a potential threat. The Yankee commanders shared Jason’s love of vulgarity and also saw the South and its way of life as a threat. If we are such a threat, let us go! Write your CONgressmen and let us go! Let my people go!

The group that hosts the article, Family Security Matters view themselves as taking proactive stands to inform American citizens on potential threats to their security. The site advertises a former CIA staffer and someone from the Department of Homeland Security as associates of their group. From surface appearances, it is a neo-Con site that views both liberals and Paleo-Conservative groups as threats to America. They have an extensive list of contributing editors.

Family Security Matters is concerned about many of the same issues that concern League members, although their approach is from the perspective that the system can be changed. The League believes the current national political system is broken and beyond repair. The public is left with the choice of ‘fixing the system’ with its version of security or leaving the system and establishing a government that operates within its Constitutional limits along with the associated liberty that would bring. Security or Liberty is a key question. The solution to the situation is to return authority back to local control. This is an issue that many do not understand. What it boils down to is letting the individual States and community government decide what is best for themselves. If they want to allow forms of art and culture and are willing to pay for them, they will be free to do so. What will not be accepted is for the national government to pay for local preferences and programs. It is not the job of the national government to do so. Their job is to protect the borders, not to fund unconstitutional programs. This is a very different approach. It will eliminate one region of the nation dictating what will or will not be allowed as applied to the whole nation.
