Lessons from History-Labeling

One of the classic lessons from history is from V. I. Lenin. During the early days of the Russian revolution, the communist party was in a crisis. They were a small group of people. Lenin, came up with the idea of labeling his party the ‘majority’ party. The ploy worked. The people began believing that the opinions and actions of the bolsheviks (majority) soon were assumed to be the will of the people.

We see this same scenario in the recent amnesty bill action. Senator Kennedy (from the Yankee Kennedy clan) called the opponents "gestapo". (I assume that gestapo means more state control and fascist type policies).Gestapo comment . Kennedy used the Lenin playbook and reversed the meanings of things by changing labels.

If our politicians operated like gentlemen then when they say yes it would mean yes, and no would mean no. In this current Orewellian state of affairs, there is so much spin, it is difficult to know the truth.

It’s that time again-Battle Hymn of the Republik

4 July is coming soon. With every fourth, Southrons have to face the pressure by the uninformed to sing or listen to the Battle Hymn of the Republikc. Several years ago I was asked to speak in a church. I specifically requested that hymn not be sung as part of the service. Well the youth pastor went ahead and included a small portion of the song. It behooves Southrons to use this time of year as a reminder of what that awful song is all about. Here is an article on the song Battle Hymn . Tell your pastors and church members what awful things this song teaches. If I stood in the pulpit of any God fearing Bible believing church, and preached what that song teaches, they would take me out and brand me as a heritic.

I often watch the movie Gettysburg as a reminder of the sacrifice of those brave forefathers who risked it all for our nation. I lost family there at the railroad cut in those three days of fighting. It was also on 4 July 1863 that there was a Confederate victory in Richmond, Kentucky.  The day was not filled with defeats all around the south.  Whatever you do, pray for our nation. Pray for our people, Pray for our  Independence and remember the sacrifices others have made for the freedoms that we are still able to enjoy. Remember that freedoms come from the Almighty God, not as a favor allowed by the empire. If you shoot off fireworks, do it in the city limits so as to exercise your freedom.

I am not going to protect the borders unless you do it my way!

Mordor on the Potomac-The administration continues pressuring the Senate to pass its immigration wish list. In the latest turn of events, the Texas Senators are standing firm. Both Hutchinson and Cornyn have been outspoken concerning measures contained within the bill.

The White House spokesman, Joel Kaplan made it clear.."But as I say, our intelligence is that the votes will be there, because
enough members of the Senate appreciate that the status quo is
unacceptable, and that without immigration reform they’re not going to
get the tough new border security and work site enforcement measures
that we need to get control of the border, and we won’t be able to make
the changes to our immigration system necessary for our economy to
continue to be competitive
."

Look at what he said. The Administration is saying in effect, nothing is going to be done if you don’t do it my way. In true political form, a power player sends a spokesman to state their case (and threats), rather than do it themselves. He sold out Texas, so why are people concerned that he is going to sell out the US? It is in his nature to show loyalty only to himself and his political machine. If you want the complete press conference go to Press Conference of threat to not protect the borders . He has made it clear that borders are not his priority through the policies his administration adheres to. The priority is to prosecute pirating of music, pornography and bust gun shops for messy paperwork. Look at what has been done-NOT what has been said.

Texians, it is not just the borders that have not been protected. If you can get soldiers and sailors to honestly talk with you, there will be some startling revelations. They often do not have the needed equipment and supplies to carry out their duties. They have had to cut back on what they can do. Someone has been more interested in buying acreage in South American nations  than fulfilling his duties to protect the borders. He can enforce the law. He could call up military troops to protect the border. In the early part of the 20th century troops dug trenches and patrolled the border.Trench

The current rulers do not want to solve the problem using those methods.
I suspect that if you followed the money, it would become apparent as to who is behind matters. The old Roman saying was "Qui Bono?" (Who Benefits) When you obtain the answer to that question, you begin to see the reality behind what is going on.

LOS in the news-Armed & Dangerous

The LOS is in the news again. Armed & Dangerous . The article is typical lazy journalism relying on the SPLC to provide information. Although its author is known for his investigative works, that quality is not present in this article. It makes me wonder whatever happened to journalists that go out and investigate things for themselves? He talks about how members of extremist groups pose a threat to the military. This makes me wonder about "whatever happened to freedom of speech, especially political speech?" The empire can send men to bleed and die for ‘freedom’, yet they are not about to allow the members of the armed forces to have opinions divergent from mainstream. Seems like a double-standard to me. I do not understand how they can recruit among religious groups that consider Christians as inferiors and infidels, yet when members of non-protected groups voice their opinions they are labeled as extremist and need to be removed from the military.

The LOS does not condone hate groups. It never has. My own experience is that when those associated with hate groups they are asked to leave.

The article shows that there is a double standard in the military. It shows that any views contrary to the established party line is not accepted. It continues showing me that many in the field of journalism do not seek out the truth or facts regarding their stories. Instead they piggy back on other groups claims and practice a ‘controlled media’ approach to reporting. If the fairness doctrine is revived, there will likely be more of the controlled media. (Note the Orwellian double-speak with the term ‘fairness doctrine’).
——————————————————–

The only other references to the LOS in the press lately have been the attempts to besmirch Representative Tancredo for being at a meeting where LOS members were also in attendance. The biggest purveyors of keeping that alive is a group out of Colorado (Colorado media matters) and the SPLC. Since Tancredo has spoken up on the immigration issue, and the SPLC labels those who do so with a ‘hate’ moniker, it is not surprising that they are fanning the flames of this matter.

The False Idol of American Democracy

THE FALSE IDOL OF AMERICAN
DEMOCRACY

MICHAEL HILL

 Democracy
is an idol in

America

,
and most Americans worship devoutly at its altar. Majorities marshaled every
two or four years have become our gods. They dictate to us how we shall live
and die. Most say they wouldn’t have it any other way. That would be
un-American. To be patriotic citizens, we must live with the results of the
ballot, be it in a general election, a Supreme Court ruling, or a Congressional
vote. The verdict is sacrosanct because it was reached through the democratic
process of majority vote. We can grouse and complain about it but we see
ourselves bound by it. Otherwise, how could we claim to be “good Americans?”

 But our
classroom civics books did not tell us that majority rule only works where
there is already a consensus of sorts on the fundamental issues within a
particular society. For instance, in a Christian nation that enjoys a high
degree of homogeneity in its racial and ethnic make-up, language, institutions,
and inherited culture, most matters up for a vote are largely superficial
policy issues. They don’t tamper with the agreed-upon foundations of the
society. However, in a multicultural and multiracial polyglot Empire such as
ours is today, the concept of majority rule is often fraught with dire (and
even deadly) consequences for the losers, especially if the winners bear a
grudge.

 As I write,
the U. S. Senate has just voted 64-35 (with 60 votes needed) to move ahead with
Senate Bill 1639, the infamous Amnesty Bill. If the bill becomes law, which
many of its supports now think is inevitable, it will grant legal status to
between 12-20 million illegal aliens already in the country. This will
literally open the floodgates to tens of millions more

Third
World

immigrants over the next few decades. It will mean the end
of society as we know it.

 Who stands
to lose by this devil’s bargain? The descendants of

America

’s founding stock will be
the losers. Our ancestors bequeathed us a republican society based on Christian
moral principles, the English language, racial (and some degree of ethnic)
homogeneity, and British legal and political institutions. All this will be
gone with the wind when we throw open the golden door to unlimited immigration.

 Only the
South, as reflected in the votes of most of its Senators, opposed this radical
transformation. Some 80% of Southerners oppose amnesty. It is not surprising,
then, that of the 35 “no” votes, 17 came from the South. That’s almost half of
the total opposition to S. 1639. Only 11 Southern Senators (including Lindsey
Graham of

South Carolina

and

Trent

“NAACP” Lott of

Mississippi

)
voted for the Amnesty Bill.

 Perhaps
Americans in other regions outside the South are quite happy with the idea of
giving the country away to

Third World

illegals.
But if the rest of the country is determined to go straight to hell, is the
South obliged to go along for the ride just so “democracy” can be upheld?

 I say it’s
time we put aside our reverence for the sort of majority rule that allows men
such as Teddy Kennedy to determine the South’s fate. If this were merely a
superficial policy matter it might be different. As it is, amnesty (and its
sure aftermath) is literally a matter of life and death for our society. We are
told that we must abide by a decision that could destroy our very way of life.
Only a fool would consent to do so.

 Again,
democracy will not work in a multicultural, polyglot Empire. I shudder to think
what will happen to our progeny when they become the numerical political
minority. Will their rights be protected by the new regnant majority who are
not products of Western Christian civilization? Or will a majority of wolves
vote to devour a minority of sheep? I think you know the answer.

 If, in the
cause of furthering

America

’s
democratic institutions, you place your future in the hands of those who have
already betrayed you, then you and your children will ultimately be
dispossessed of life, liberty, and property in the name of democracy (and other
dubious ideologies). You will have meekly acquiesced to the whim of a temporary
majority because you did not have the nerve to walk away from the holy ground
upon which you were commanded to kneel and worship the idol.

 So what is
the answer for us stubborn and contrary Southerners? For our self-preservation
dare we cast aside voting and the idea of the “consent of the governed” for a
monarchy or dictatorship? No. We must simply re-define the political and social
entity to which we belong. To wit, we need an independent Southern Republic in
which our interests and moral principles hold sway. No more being ruled by the
Ted Kennedys of the world. In my eyes, such a course is not only desirable, it
is necessary for our survival.

The Statues at UT

The Confederate statues remain a source of irritation for the University of Texas. The story behind the statues is that when Major Littlefield died, there were changes. Littlefield had been working alongside Pompeo Coppinni in placing the statues on the campus. The original artists idea was to place the statues in such a manner that they would convey a sense of reconciliation between north and south. When Littlefield died, the University officials decided that they knew better. That bastion of supposed "free speech" and "artistic expression" censored Coppinni and chose where and how to place the statues themselves. Coppinni warned them that placing them in that arrangement would send a message of defiance and irritation to the viewers of the statues. UT officials ignored Coppinni and did what they wanted to do anyway.

Now the statues come back to haunt them. Will UT accept responsibility for their errors? No way. A proper liberal school will blame society or someone else rather than assume responsibility for their debacle. They blame the dead white men of the Confederacy. Well, it was those men who gave their money to keep the University’s doors open after the war. It was not the Lincoln-loving Yankees or Carpetbaggers, it was Texans, Confederate Texans. Every student at that University owes a debt of gratitude to those men who provided the funds to keep their beloved orange and white University doors open. Will they express gratitude? I doubt it. I do find it humorous that Coppinni did the statues at UT and the Sul Ross Statue at Texas A&M as well. At least the Aggies show some respect for their founders.

Does this issue bother me? Yes, the arrogance of the UT administration and students towards the statues is a shame for Texas. The University only believes in free speech when it promotes liberal or communist ideas. They hold marches for socialist writers and those freedoms. Will they hold a march to keep the statues? I doubt it. If they were truly interested in free speech they would.

If you want to keep the statues, consider voting in the Texas Monthly poll link below. You may want to read the article first and get your blood boiling, then vote.

Texians,

Texas is not going to get better on its own without our effort. Do something! Vote-Read-Write-Speak-Do something. Just don’t send your sons, daughters, grandchildren or nebs to UT. They trash the Confederacy. They talk free speech, but when there is a price for speaking out, they have taken their whimpy orange butts to the clubhouse.

For (the Republic) of Texas! [to remove any confusion or possibility of thinking I support UT]

Amnesty Bill Vote-Press Release

LEAGUE OF THE SOUTH NEWS
SERVICE

26 June 2007

For Immediate Release

Today, the
U.S. Senate voted in favor of bill 1639 by a 64-35 margin. The passage of S.
1639 allowed what many call the Amnesty Bill to be revived and moved ahead for
further debate. Many supporters believe that this crucial vote all but assures
that the bill will finally be passed in the Senate and will be the first step in
legalizing between 12-20 million illegal aliens already in the country.

A breakdown of the vote by State tells us clearly that the South
overwhelmingly opposed reviving S. 1639. The combined vote in 14 Southern States
(Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi,
Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and
Virginia) was 11 in favor and 17 against. Thus nearly half of the 35 "no" votes
came from the South while only 18% of the "yes" votes came from Dixie. Without
figuring in the Southern vote, the finally tally would have been 53 "yes" to 18
"no," a striking non-Southern majority in favor of Amnesty.

The
breakdown of votes in each Southern State:

Alabama: Sessions (R)-No
Shelby (R)-No
Arkansas: Lincoln (D)-Yes  Pryor (D)-Yes
Florida:
Martinez (R)-Yes  Nelson (D)-Yes
Georgia: Chambliss (R)-No  Isakson (R)-No

Kentucky: Bunning (R)-No  McConnell (R)-Yes
Louisiana: Landriue (D)-No
Vitter (R)-No
Mississippi: Cochran (R)-No  Lott (R)-Yes
Missouri: Bond
(R)-Yes  McCaskill (D)-No
North Carolina: Burr (R)-Yes  Dole (R)-No

Oklahoma: Coburn (R)-No  Inhofe (R)-No
South Carolina: DeMint (R)-No
Graham (R)-Yes
Tennessee: Alexander (R)-No  Corker (R)-No
Texas: Cornyn
(R)-No  Hutchison (R)-No

Virginia: Warner (R)-Yes  Webb (D)-Yes

Once
again, the Southern States have been out-voted on a measure that, should it
eventually become law, would threaten the interests and well being of their
citizens. As the League of the South has proclaimed now for some thirteen years,
the South will not be governed in her own interests and by her own principles
until she becomes an independent republic.

Freedom-Use it or loose it.

Freedoms important to us. The League is about advancing those freedoms. Given the importance of freedoms, how does one advance freedom? The first way to advance freedom is to exercise it. If you have a freedom, use it. Exercise your freedom of speech, you freedom of assembly, the right to bear arms, etc. When freedoms are not exercised, we become fearful about exercising them. We begin giving up our freedoms by intimidation. We start allowing fear to limit our exercise of freedoms rather than law.

There are few places where this is so apparent as with the first amendment. Freedom of speech, religion, and the press have been hamstrung through taxes and policies that make it inconvenient to exercise your freedoms. Doesn’t it strike you odd that although we have the right to freedom of assembly and association, if you find yourself choosing to exercise those freedoms when it comes to doing business or hiring people, you are often hit with a law suit.  Likewise, we have freedom of speech on paper, but speaking out on some topics, or some words will land you in trouble. With the current paranoid mindset, if you speak out on selected topics, you may be labeled a ‘trouble-maker’.

Although government officially allows freedom of religion and non-preference of religion, in practice the government goes out of its way to protect certain religions.

For the purpose of this post, the focus is to present the need to exercise you rights. Be willing to test limits. It is important psychologically to get out of the position of cowering before the Empire. The power of the Empire is based in fear. When you exercise freedom without living in fear, they begin loosing control over you physically and psychologically. When a person is defeated psychologically, mastering them physically is easy. To prevent the continuation of the reconstruction mindset, you need to practice exercising your freedoms. As you get into the habit, it becomes second nature.

A free Texas begins with free Texas minds.

Bush and Lincoln-deja vu?

Texians,

I could not even try to make up the stuff coming out of Mordor on the Potomoc. It seems that the Bushes attended an evening at the Ford theatre for the Christmas special.Bush enjoys Ford Theatre like Lincoln  When asked about it afterwards, this is what was said, "President Lincoln
had a great appreciation for the performing arts," Bush said. "They
offered relief amid the agonies of war, and he would likely be pleased
that Ford’s Theatre continues to bring together talented performers
from across our country, including those with us tonight."

In previous articles, he has praised the Tyrant Lincoln. For him to admire that tyrant says a great deal. For him to enjoy going to Ford theatre to escape the pressures of the war is "deja vu". Any Southron worth his salt can see the similarities and shudder. Lincoln was no friend of American freedom or the South. The administrations policies show similar regard for protecting the border as did Lincoln’s. The administration shares other similarities as well-a wartime government, suspension of legal rights, use of the Pinkerton’s/Homeland Security, love of the income tax, love of taxes in general. (BTW-the history of Pinkerton is interesting. He was another communist who fled Europe and made Amerika his home. If the real truth was known, the war involved a giant struggle between Christians and communists, although little has been written on the war from that angle). Both Lincoln and Bush had questionable victories for the office of president, with neither of them winning the popular vote. There does seem to be some common issues and common thinking between the two of them. Both Bush and Lincoln have found powers in the government that others had not seen there before them. It is more than ironic that Southerners saw the danger that Lincoln posed by his disregard for the Constitution. Is it by chance that Lincoln is the role model for W?

On another note, if Lincoln is pleased, is it because Ford theatre is being used or that the empire is again expanding at the expense of the south and Southern freedoms?

We Don’t Enforce Laws & Criminals are Welcome to the US

I came across this short news item from WorldNetDaily.

"President Bush today offered the promise of a future permanent ban on illegal
aliens in the United States - if the U.S. Senate moves forward with a compromise
"comprehensive" immigration reform package that was killed earlier. "Right now,
our laws are ineffective and insufficient. For example, crossing the border
illegally carries weak penalties. In addition, participation in illegal gangs is
not enough to bar admission into our country
," he said on his weekly radio
address."

Texians,

Take a look at what the chief administrative officer of the empire said, "…the laws are ineffective and insufficient". According to the constitution, "The executive power shall be vested in a president of the United States of America" (Article II, Section 1). This office is given the responsibility of ‘executive’. He is responsible for the execution of law and the enforcement of policy. If the laws are ineffective, then the executive is not enforcing the laws that are written. At present it is a felony to enter the US illegally. If a felony charge and $5000 fine are not sufficient, then what would be? How is it that the Department of Justice does not prosecute illegal criminal immigrants until the six, seventh or eighth violation? The executive branch tells the DOJ (Department of Justice)  which laws to enforce. (Remember that Alberto Gonzales worked for Vinson & Elkins-[Enron’s law firm]. In his campaign for the Texas Supreme Court, Enron was a major contributor [$14,000]Enron Money . If you follow the money, things look suspicious Gonzales’ associations with Enron ). How can you expect a member of La Raza and recipient of Enron bucks to enforce laws concerning immigration?

The statement is either a charade or someone is out of control of his administration. I am reminded of the Vampire Story. Years ago in Romania, leaders of the Roman Catholic church wanted more influence in the region of Romania. In an effort to obtain that influence, they propagated stories about vampires, claiming the cure was crucifixes and holy water. Since they were the main supplier of crucifixes and holy water, they increased their influence over Romania by providing a solution to a problem they created. The empire is doing the same game, under a different name. Instead of screaming "vampires!", they are screaming for more immigration laws, albeit in a weakened watered down, amnesty-giving, taxpayer supported giveaway kind of way. He is using the language that the unthinking populace wants to hear, BUT, the kind of laws that the Empire wants is not what the people are expecting.

Make no mistake, if the laws are not enforced, it is because the empire chooses not to enforce them.

The other portion of what he said ( "In addition, participation in illegal gangs is
not enough to bar admission into our country")
amounts to "If immigrants are criminals, it is not enough to keep them out. If criminal activity can keep someone from purchasing a gun, voting, working in child care, driving a car, flying on public transportation, and being in a licensed profession, then why does it not prevent someone from immigrating to the US?" The logic used by this administration is flawed at best. Participation in a criminal gang, by federal law is CONSPIRACY. It in itself is a crime. If you don’t believe me, look at how the FEDS call any group of three or more people a ‘conspiracy’. It is as if the Empire wants to encourage criminals to enter this nation. "Instead of give us your tired…" it has become "Give us your rapist, your drunks, your predators and your murderers".

Consider carefully what is being said here. 1) They are not going to enforce immigration laws as they presently stand, 2) They are determined to get their laws passed, even if it requires lying to the people, 3) even with all the talk about ‘executive power’, they can only do what they are authorized to do (e.g. they only have the power given to them by the people and by the grace of God) 4) they want to allow criminals to be given a free ride, 5) they are not wanting to protect us from known criminals coming into the country.

A lot was communicated in those few sentences, if you were really listening and thinking. Since most of the population has not been thinking, they swallowed much of what he said as being good for the nation, because it sounded good. I know that scripture says to pray for those in authority. It also says to ‘beware of those who call evil good’. This is very clear in my mind, as I hope it is in yours as well.  I encourage each of you to think, and look at what they do, NOT what they say. As a free people, we must think like a free people and act like a free people.

Free Texas!
