Bayport Boondoggle

Being that I was indoctrinated in the government schools, I do not understand the local government boondoggle in my backyard. The multi-million dollar port terminal known as Bayport presents some issues I do not understand.

According to news reports released at its opening, the port was regarded as "State of the Art". Bayport is "State of the Art" .Port is state of the art according to DHS  Local government agencies have had meetings and tours filled with foreign dignitaries and CONgress Critters. THey have hosted international conferences there including Secure Port 2007. They have sang the praises for the port and its facilities (the massive cranes which come from Communist China). For years the port boasted about the amount of money it would bring in and the number of jobs it would produce.

So WHY are they already asking for more money for security.Port wants more money. It really gets to be a joke when you consider that they cut a deal with a local municipality to patrol the area for them. Many studies were done prior to its construction on how it would help the area so why are they now concerned about pollution and traffic.Port concerned about pollution . This is after it was touted as a "Good Neighbor" by CONgress Critter Gene Green.Bayport will be a good neighbor . A further funny one is the news item about the jobs at Bayport is that they want more money from the state to educate their workforce.Bayport wants state money for education. That makes me wonder about the quality of people they are hiring for the jobs in the first place. Such news items do not help me sleep better at night knowing that just about everything said promoting it was filled with falsehoods.

Although this is a local issue, the millions of dollars spent are monies that could have gone into the economy had they not been forcibly taken from us by the occupational government. This flagship of industry is being touted to the world as "State of the Art". If we assume they are telling the truth, then what is it the State of? Is it security-no? Is it the cleanest port? -No. It sure does tell me the state of the political system. Do such programs make me want to rush out and do my patriotic duty and pay taxes to support such boondoggles? -No! (It blows me away how Mordor makes it sound like it is patriotic to pay taxes. Our founding fathers hated taxes. Here in the local community, there is one tax preparation place that has someone dressed as ‘Uncle Sam’ waving at the passing motorists to encourage them to pay their taxes. I see the comical man and then look out my back window and see the multi-million dollar eyesore, pollution generating, deceitful project and come back to reality very fast.)

Why is the LOS protesting Bayport? It is a project forced on the local communities against their will. It is a waste of taxpayer dollars. It provides jobs to communist dictatorships rather than good Southron companies. It has not lived up to its promises. It robs local communities of monies taken from their pockets through taxes. It has not increased political, social, or cultural independence of the Southern people.  If anything it has done the contrary. Not only has it done the contrary, it puts this boondoggle on display to the world.

Cultural comparisons

One of the goals of the League is the cultural preservation of our nation. This is done through articles both written and electronic on League-related sites. The latest venture, is a magazine entitle the Free Magnolia. Culture is also preserved in families through stories and traditions they have passed down through the generations. One family I know has managed to pass down fiddle playing skills. In these days of cultural relativism, the need to provide future generations with knowledge, heritage and wisdom is important along with being a God given responsibility. We are told to be salt and light. My understanding of being salt and light is preserving heritage and wisdom. Each of us will pass down a heritage, whether it be the current one in vogue of hedonism and cultural self-hatred, or something along the lines that the League of the South attempts to do.

February is a good month to reconsider the Confederate nation, since it came into being on 22 February 1861. It was by no means a perfect nation. As a nation, we have had our difficulties and challenges. Despite the rejoicing that Karl Marx, Horace Mann and those of their ilk did when the South was politically subjected, the ideals of the nation survived. The American ideal set out in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence was epitomized in the Southern nation. The people are sovereign. It is by their consent that the government is in power. The Yankee nation has taken that notion and twisted it around to where the government is sovereign and the people are to submit and consent to their authority.  If you don’t believe it , visit any Federal courthouse. From the construction to the attitude of the residents, you will see the epitome of arrogance. In the most recent egregious episode, a federal judge ruled that a child must be exposed to teaching that run contrary to his Christian beliefs, despite efforts by the parents to protest. Child forced into indoctrination .Somehow ‘free’ speech has been twisted into the fact that the future generations must be exposed to the teachings and lifestyles of every group that the authorities believe is in their best interest.

Honestly! Look at where the Yankee government is. They hide mention of the ten commandments at the Supreme Court building. They have demanded the removal of the ten commandments from public buildings. They force children to be exposed to ungodly doctrines and controversial live vaccines. They tolerate evil in its many forms and seek to criminalize the speaking out against it. This certainly sounds like a nation that calls evil good and good evil. The nation has lost its moral compass. The leaders give and sell sovereignty away piece by piece while the people focus their attentions on Anna Nicole and who gets her body. Is the South better off under such occupation? If this is the present situation and generation, what of the future generations? I would gladly take the Southern nation with its faults over what the Yankees have done.  Here’s one for the history books. During the War of Northern aggression, the economic situation in Texas was a difficult one. During the worst days of the inflation, gold was selling for $500.00 Confederate dollars an ounce. In 2007, an ounce of gold is selling for $687.00 Yankee dollars an ounce (as of 24 Feb 2007). Consider that for a moment. —-Inflation is worse NOW than it ever was during the war. If people refer to Confederate money as being worthless, what is the ‘true’ value of the current paper monies? Confederate money in 1865 is worth more than the dollar of 2007! The economy  under Yankee occupation is worse than it ever was during the war, the only difference is that with TV and computers, people are too busy to notice. Here is another one for the history books. Cotton sold for $1.90 Confederate dollars a pound in 1864. With 500 pounds to a bale, that would make them worth $950 dollars. In 2007 dollars, cotton sells for $48.00 a pound, and a 500 lb bale goes for about $24,000 dollars. Bear in mind that the cotton industry is heavily subsidized. But in terms of comparing prices in 1864 to the present day against tangible objects (cotton bales and ounces of gold), something is rotten on, in, beside and along the Potomac.

The southern nation valued its Christian heritage and did not hide it. One of the early tasks of the government was to obtain printing plates and print our own Bibles. Parental authority was respected. Days of national prayer were common. Although cursing occurred among some troops, it was not common in the army as a whole.  Chaplains were not chastised because they prayed in Jesus’ name. Communism, feminism and atheism were fellow travelers and perceived as threats to the current order. Gun ownership was encouraged. Men were encouraged to and expected protect their families. Men who did not provide for their families were shamed.

Take some time this month and seriously consider the current situation, in terms of economics, morals, quality of life and just about any other area between what the Southern nation had and where we are under the occupational government. Which government’s culture do you want your grandchildren to have? Which values would you rather teach to future generations?

What say ye?

Inner City Diplomacy

CONgressCritter Sheila Jackson Lee is in the news again.Jackson Lee in the news . It seems that she is in Venezuela, and openly conducting foreign policy. Her district is an inner-city district, so why is she in Venezuela? I guess the many citgo service stations that sell Venezuelan gas are in her district. Granted it is non-arab gasoline, but Chavez is a blatant communist. When Jackson-Lee proclaims that he has many friends in Congress, I believe her. There are many pro-communists/socialists in the current Congress. It is as if we can choose between the socialists (democrats) and the fascisti. As for my house…. My choice is for freedom and liberty. Give the South back to its people. Let the Southern people return confederation where there is small central government.

Think through the ramifications of Jackson-Lee’s visit. 1) She is collaborating with a pro-communist nation, 2) She is associating with an openly anti-US nation and its leader 3) She claims that there are many supporters of Chavez in Congress, even though they put on a show of being shocked at his speech a few months back 4) She is not authorized to conduct foreign policy, so she is subverting that branch of government.

If you read the article closely, she receives funds from Lockheed-Martin, and wants the US to allow arms sales to Venezuela. (Is she a war-monger for money?). Among those also listed is my CONgressCritter, Nick Lampson, whose trough is full of all sorts of money. I guess that proves we have the best legislators money can buy. I wonder if Jackson-Lee would want Smith and Wesson, Ruger or Colt to have more small arms sales in the inner city? Maybe, those companies have not made the right contributions yet.

Any way you slice it, things are weird in the imperial city, as the agents of Mordor continue spreading mischief, this time wanting to buy oil, sell airplanes and improve relations with a communist dictator by means of an inner city CONgress Critter who most recently campaigned for her anti-hate crime legislation (is there any hypocrisy here?). If they associate speech and guns with hate, then what do they associate with a fighter aircraft that has way more guns than any inner city gang could dream of? Once more look at what they do, NOT at what they say.

Free Dixie! (from the likes of scalawags, carpetbaggers, Yankees and general no-gooders) not Iraq!

FEDS take orders from Mexico

After reviewing the news, a disturbing pattern is emerging where the occupational government is kowtowing to Mexican government requests. In responding to the immigration issues, this is disturbing. The latest is officer Gilbert Hernandez. Mexico calls the shots . This is in the aftermath of the two border patrol agents who were prosecuted after requests from the Mexican government. In the most recent case, the Federalies stepped in and took over the investigation and prosecution from the locals. This is a disturbing event. It is up to local law enforcement to deal with local issues, this is NOT a Federal matter.

The track record for the FEDS taking over Texas investigations is deplorable. The FEDS took over the investigation from the locals with the Kennedy assassination, the FEDS took over in Waco, and the FEDS have taken over Enron. (BTW Enron is still not settled). The FEDS forcibly integrated Vidor. A Federal judge radically changed and increased the cost of running Texas prisons (Ruiz case). It was Federal meddling in Texas that gave the nation Rowe v. Wade. Federal decisions have told Texas who can go to their schools, what is taught, and who has to be paid for in the schools. Every program they have touched has increased in cost to the taxpayers and bureaucracy. Now they are taking over immigration related issues and their investigation. Yes those same people that brought us all those heartaches and blood now wants to control enforcement of law and immigration. If the FEDS were doing their job, of protecting the border, the investigations would not be necessary. The Mexican government knows how to keep borders secure. Their border with Guatemala is secure. They actively strive to keep their southern border secure. There is a duplicity in how Mexico deals with the enforcement of immigration related issues. Mexico firmly defends its citizens, which is admirable, although at present it is at the expense of our liberties.

It is also confusing how the tyrant in chief kowtows to them. When he was governor, he refused backing down, now he has done so twice on major incidents within less than a year. Another question is "Where is the tyrant Perry?" Where is the governor who talked so tough about enforcing immigration issues during the campaign? I guess cutting deals with Merck is more important than defending the people of Texas from Mexico. In a timely news story,  the number of Americans killed by illegal aliens is greater than the number of Americans killed in Iraq.Illegals kill more than Iraqis . Once more look at what the politicians do NOT what they say. Recall that this CONgress has already earmarked millions to educate the children of foreign nations, and done little if anything to improve border security.

Here on the gulf coast we have a Chinese company as a major player in running the new Bayport complex. All the local press rejoiced in its opening, yet do not realize the amount of pollution it will bring from the ships, trains and trucks. The local CONgress Critters campaigns were financed by some of the agents from those Chinese companies. Recall that it is illegal for foreign governments to contribute to Presidential candidates, but I guess if it is a member of CONgress, and an agent is used rather than the government per se, it is acceptable. The Bayport complex had to receive special permission from DPS to allow their rent-a-cops to do security checks. Even with such matters, the local press claims that the security is State of the Art. Someone is not being entirely truthful in matters. The port put out propaganda about how it does not pollute, yet government studies show it is one of the biggest producers of some forms of pollution in comparison to other ports. Allowing such things to happen reminds me that what politicians say is nothing. When they subsidize foreign companies(that are tools of their nations), and turn a blind eye to security concerns presented by a port such as this, along with not striving to stand behind the men and women who protect the border-Something is wrong, dreadfully wrong. Recall that containers are not routinely searched on coming into the American empire.

The present Congress is all talk an little substantial action in areas that matter.

Free Dixie (from illegal convicts, meddling Yankees, Communist-backed companies, tyrant governors, PC teachers that spread falsehoods), not Iraq!

Weasels in the henhouse

The story out of Scotland is that some of the Scottish PM’s are upset that they are no plans to move the Stone of Scone to it’s rightful home at Scone Palace. Instead, it will reside (under British control) at Edinburgh castle. It is almost as if they are saying see we returned the stone, but it is not really yours.Stone of Scone . This is further evidence of look at what they do, not at what they say.

Img_2196_1

(On the Stone of Scone issue, the Scots make indeed have the last laugh. There are three potential candidates for the Stone of Scone. The one pictured at Scone palace, the one at the bottom of the latrine of Scone palace and the one at Edinburgh Castle. It seems that some copies were made, and the Scots may have sent England the copy and kept the original for themselves.)

In Texas, the Congress Critters voted to violate the limits on spending they put into place. House Violates Constitutional Amendment  What makes it worse is that it was by Constitutional amendment. They have no regard for the law, yet they expect us to abide by every whim they pass. If Texans ran their budget like the state, we could live high on the hog and never worry about reality either.

A brave judge in Texas did strike down Perry’s ability to be a tyrant. He trimmed his power to hand down executive orders.Executive Power Trimmed . That tells me that there are a few brave souls out there who have a respect for law.

Apparently the South Carolina flag issue continues. South Carolina has had increasing tourist numbers, so the NAACP boycott has not had the detrimental effect they had hoped. The meddlesome Yankee lawmakers just want to make SC a whuppin’ boy for the nation for flying the flag on the Statehouse grounds.  It seems that with the national election cycle, they trot out South Carolina and use them for speech fodder. They did it the year that George II campaigned for the throne, and they are doing it again. Back when George ran for office, I wrote him about the flag issue, he said that it was a State issue. He continues viewing it as a State issue. When he first took that stand, I supported him, although I was stabbed in the back when like a weasel,  he took the plaques off the Courthouse in the evening when no one was lookin’ after Gary Bledsoe wrote a letter complaining. His friend Alberto Gonzales advised him in the matter, so Bush and Gonzales conspired in their underhanded ways. BUSH SOLD OUT! It was a warning then as much as it is now. Just as Texas was sold out, has done it to others. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. His underhanded handling of the courthouse is just like the underhanded tactics of the English in dealing with the Stone of Scone regarding Scotland. Bush is descended from Yankee stock, which is in turn from British stock.

What are they teaching at Tarrant County College?

What are they teaching our kids? When I saw this story, I began questioning what teachers are teaching the kids at Tarrant County College. Many of the students protested the deportation of a fellow student due to immigration violations. I do not understand the protest, in my mind a party would be in order in that the government is actually doing its job and enforcing immigration.Students Protest Deportation . In these days with all the attention on immigration and its enforcement, any suggestion that immigration laws be enforced are met with allegations of hate crimes and cries of "Fascist!".

When I looked further into this situation, it seems to be teacher driven. The campus holds annual conferences on immigration. I suspect that much of the protest is teacher driven, and not a spontaneous display of emotion by the students. The most recent conference on immigration was sponsored by local businesses. Here is a list of sponsors and what they provided:

It is almost as if they students are receiving a pay-off for taking the correct PC stands on immigration issues. For a conference on immigration, I was wondering "where are the minutemen?"  I doubt that they even considered inviting the minutemen to their party. What I can say is that you may wish to think twice about patronizing these sponsors if you are a person who wants to see immigration laws enforced.

They are clearly preaching the glories of unlimited immigration (e.g. colonization), and not the classics. The story of Manlius Torquatus is definitely not taught. The leader wished his son to obey his laws rather than seek glory. The manhood and respect of law that such figures represent are not valued by those advocating the open immigration agenda. Being that they probably don’t teach Torquatus, they definitely do not teach the story of King Saul and his son Johnathan. It grieves me that the sons and daughters of Texas are not being taught the importance of honor in dealing with the issues of the day.

President and Tyrant Day!

While the world focuses on Brittney’s shaved head, the American States experience President’s Day. This is the day that the subjects do obesience to their tyrant overlords. When the Southern States walked out of Congress in 1861, the United States legally ceased functioning as a Constitutional Republic. All legislation passed by the occupational government is Sine Dei (without a day). Legal scholars know that the government is not operating according to the laws put in place by the Constitution, but refuse to discuss the issue, because it would open a bag of worms. The whole fabric of myth that holds the Union together would unravel.

In the old fashioned sense, the day that Washington and Lincoln are honored is almost like the yin and yang of America. It is acknowledgment of the the founding father of the Union of States known as the United States of America (Washington) and the founding father of the Nation called the United States of America. Make no mistake, they are two separate and distinct nations. They each had different visions and values. One held the values of the Constitution (Washington), one held the values of lies and misinterpretation of the values expressed in the Declaration of Independence. (A good little video about
the tyrant Lincoln can be found at If you liked Saddam.. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqOmQlYwUBA ) . The comparison between Saddam and Lincoln are notable. It is not surprising that the Americans that fought for communism in Spain were known as the Abraham Lincoln brigade. It is not surprise that Karl Marx (who wrote a column in a New York Paper back then), praised Lincoln and wrote him letters of congratulations for his works. Lincoln went through several bankruptcies, and often cursed like a sailor. (Out of the words of the mouth, the heart does speak).  Washington in large embodies many of the values parents strive to raise their children with, Lincoln embodies those that they protect them from. His male lover, cursing and hatred of Christianity are often ignored by mainstream pop pastors who continue embracing the myth of Lincoln ( a few months back Christianity today encouraged people to esteem Lincoln. Needless to say, on seeing such tripe, I wrote them about their encouragement.) ( On another note, Senator Clinton has made her stand on the Confederate flag known. There is no surprise here, she wants them to take it down, claiming, there is no place for it on the Statehouse grounds.Clinton meddling in SC). There was an interesting piece on Lincoln in the New Media Journal.Lincoln under scrutiny . I find it of interest because Al Sharpton and others are waking up to the Real Lincoln. They see through the myth for who he was, what he did and what he did not do. Sharpton and others are quoted in the article with some insightful thoughts on the man and his actions.

We are encouraged in scripture to seek good companions. Lincoln is not a good companion in any sense of the word. A God-fearing Christian would not associate with him when he lived, and it befuddles me why some professing people would seek to associate themselves with him now.

Even in his monument, Lincoln is portrayed a Greeco-Roman Deity sitting on his throne. On the sides of his throne are prominently displayed fasces the symbolise the power of the State. (Look carefully at those symbols and compare them with the symbols of fascists Italy under Mussolini. The resemblance is intentional).

I chuckle at the fact that the Jefferson Davis monument in Kentucky is the third highest in the nation, behind the Washington Monument and the San Jacinto Monument. These were men and events worth emulating. I would not hesitate to allow my sons to read the words and deeds of them whereas I would seek to deter them from honoring Lincoln.

I encourage each of you to take a few moments and honor Washington. If you insist on honoring Lincoln, do so in your throne room A place fit for Lincoln.

Confederate economy better than US economy of 2007.

In the latest jokes going around Austin, the lawmakers are suggesting selling the Alamo.Alamo Joke. I  recognize that it is a humorous gesture. I also know that embedded in jokes is an element of truth. The truth here is that almost anything is for sale in Austin. The bidding is now open for the State legislature and Governorship.

In a sad reflection on reality, I presented a talk on Governor Pendleton Murrah last night. In that presentation, I pointed out that during the rampant inflation of the Confederate currency in Texas gold was selling for about $520/ounce. In today’s economy, gold is selling for $665/ounce. That means that the Confederate currency, even at its worst was better than the current US economy. Those "worthless" Confederate dollars were worth more than the dollar of 2007. Let’s look at another commodity to see how things fare-cotton. When the economy was rock bottom in 1864/65 cotton was going for $1.90/pound, cotton is now selling for $48/pound. The cotton bale was 500 pounds so a bale in 1864 would sell for $950.00, and in 2007, that same bale goes for $24,000.  So given these illustrations, are we better off under Yankee occupation? What has it done for your children, your money, your life?

Here is another point to ponder. During the war, Texas sent approximately 118,000 men into service for the CSA. During reconstruction, the Yankees occupied Texas with 50,000 men. Do the math, they had one Yankee soldier to monitor and control a little over two Confederates each. The Yankee government sent more men into Texas than President Bush sent into Afghanistan.  They did a little bit of overkill on us.

Can’t You Just Feel the Love

Watching Congress Critters is not for the weak at heart. In the latest shenanigans, Congress Critter Sheila Jackson Lee has shown her Scalawag colors. In her proposed ‘hate crimes’ legislation, there is the potential to squelch free speech. The bill is named for a Texas adolescent who was victimized with a pipe.  Although Rep. Jackson Lee may have good intentions, the bill would authorize the use of  Federal policing for local matters. Hate Crime Legislation Proposed . Sadly the kind of thing such legislation seeks to remedy will not be prevented. There are several issues to bear in mind. 1) The number of hate crimes is small 2) Given that most criminal behavior is driven by hate, singling out the motivation is ludicrous 3) by criminalizing certain remarks and comments, the government becomes thought police 4) Hate crimes legislation has done little to prevent it OR in the recent Long Beach case Long Beach Hate Crime , to prosecute ‘Hate Crimes’ 6) In the hands of the occupational Yankee government, such legislation will be used to silence Southrons and other liberty minded peoples 7) the legislation is an attempt to ‘force’ those states without hate crime legislation to do so.

On a more humorous note, in the spirit of cooperation, Rep. Tancredo, who spoke up for Rep. Ellison when he wanted to be sworn in on the Q’ran had the tables turned on him. It seems that Rep. Ellison did not have the same kind of respect when Tancredo wanted to enjoy a cigar in his office. Ellison promptly  called the Imperial police to the scene of the crime (there was no crime-Tancredo is allowed to smoke in his office). Ah, can’t you just feel the LOVE.

Entrepeneurship

On recently finishing Thomas DiLorenzo’s, How Capitalism Saved America, it became very clear that if we are to build the South, there is a great need for entrepreneurs. I can recommend the book, although it gets slow in places. DiLorenzo provides some vivid illustrations of how free enterprise and capitalism has transformed this continent. There is a great deal of economic freedom and power gained from successful businesses. As Southrons, it is imperative that businesses be developed. It is only when we have economic independence that political independence will follow. Political independence is achievable and attainable for us. I see that reality and others do as well. A recent article that addressed the threat we pose was recently posted. League seen as a threat. One of the foundations that need to be built is that of an economic base. As Southrons we need to start home businesses, whether selling products or services. We need business sense and connections that only comes from successful business. When we employ people and have some economic muscle, others will begin listening to us with greater attention. Whoever is the boss dictates company policy. We can whine about not being able to display the flag at work, but real change will occur when it is Southrons that run the businesses and determine the policies. When we do that, we can display the flag in our offices and outside the corporate headquarters.  We can have our security personnel display the flags on their uniforms. Until we run the businesses ourselves we will have to defer to the Yankee ways of doing things and their rules that we have to operate under. I recommend that Southrons do what they can to develop their business skills. Learn how to market, run a business, sales, public speaking, and product development. These items are the building blocks of our economic independence.

Another helpful book is Mike Tuggle’s Confederates in the Boardroom. It is heavy reading and for the serious business person only. The information he presents on how systems evolve is definitely cutting edge. There are many books out there on business systems. Tuggle’s explains how they evolve and the importance of communication between the parts of a system. By connecting the systems approach of understanding business back to the Confederate system of government and how political systems evolve makes it valuable for understanding business and political activity.
