Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving. Traditionally, on a day of thanks, people would go to their respective houses of worship and give thanks to God. In our contemporary culture, I doubt that there will be many churches open today for prayer, etc. Despite such changes, I have much to be thankful for.

1) Quebec may be given (Quebec Nationhood ).

2) The Scottish National Party is gaining prominence and may soon have independence themselves. Everywhere one looks in Scotland are displays of the St. Andrew’s Cross screaming "This is Scotland!". (Scottish National Party) . The people have their own legislative assembly and have begun passing their own legislation. When I was there it was clear that they also had their own money as well.

3) The LOS fielded Ray McBerry for Governor of Georgia this year. His involvement in the race helped make people aware of many issues.

4) The secessionist meeting in Vermont was a success. The meeting allowed many persons to network in their efforts at reclaiming sovereignty. There was also some good press coverage that came out of the event as well.

5) In Texas, two independent candidates ran for Governor. Besides making history, they also showed that an independent can run for office in Texas.

6) Dixie Broadcasting has improved the quality of its service and is more reliable than it used to be.

7) Although under attack, Christianity continues prevailing. I am encouraged by the many people who have not been taken in by false profits, false shepherds, and those who would seek to water down if not outright steal the Word of God.

8) I am thankful that there are still Southrons around who care about truth and liberty, who care about the future of their children, who care about their heritage. In the Scottish Declaration of Independence, (aka Declaration of Arboroath), there is the following passage, "for so long as a hundred of us are left alive, we will yield in no least way to

English dominion. We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honours; but only and alone we

fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life." Having fellow Southrons and Texians who stand for truth is like modernising the pledge to say.."for so long as a hundred of us are left alive, we will yield in no least way to

Yankee dominion. We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honours nor empire building; but only and alone we

fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life." Dr. Hill often uses the Biblical phrase "abjuring the realm". This declaration is about abjuring the realm of Dixie.

We have a lot to be thankful for in our homeland as well as the homeland of kindred who seek their place at the table of nations. Deo Vindice! Solo Scriptura, Solo populi, Ducit Amor Patraie.
