Already, forces are at work concerning what figure will be lifted up to our youth. The Lincolnites wish to have all bow down at the feet of this tyrant and do obiscence to him. On the Southron side, Robert E. Lee is being lifted up. 2007 will be the 200th anniversary of these men’s birth. We will face many choices concerning who will be our cultural icons. A lot can be discerned by the heroic figures admired by a people. It was not by accident that the Spartans put up statues of their king in Athens after conquering it. What do we see in the Imperial city now, the 2007 version of ancient practices the new memorial . This says a great deal about the Imperial mindset. Does it surprise anyone that the Clintons have been major movers in establishing the new memorial.
In preparing for "Who will own 2007?", there is a collection of articles on Lew Rockwell with plenty of facts for your use with tyrant worshippers Lincoln archive. "A wise man forseeth the evil and prepareth himself." Already there has been some efforts at roping Alabama into the 2007 Lincoln fest. The state of Kentucky has also been pushing Kentucky as the "Home of Lincoln". I have already sent my letter putting forth the better choice of Jefferson Davis as the best president that state ever produced, in terms of policies, morals and character.
The I have already seen evidence of Lincolnites with in the "Christian" publishing houses with references to his "good works".
We must also arm ourselves with information supportive of Robert E. Lee. Rev. Steve Wilkins wrote an excellent book on Lee (Call of Duty ). It can be found at many sights. For younger readers, there is Robert E. Lee, The Christian by William J. Johnston available at Christian Liberty Press . They also carry the series by Mary Williamson on JEB Stuart, Jackson and Lee. In homeschooling circles the trilogy by Mary Williamson was for many years standard reading (also available from Conservative book service ). Books such as these will prepare you and your children for the upcoming contest of who will be the man of the year for 2007.
